Dear readers, writers and supporters,

The summer was too short and too hot. In fact, it is still very hot in Central Europe, unusual for this time of year. Children and young people are going back to school, and that goes for me and all my fellow teachers around the world too.

What changes can you expect at Fragmented Voices this season? First of all, we will focus on publicising our activities and engaging with our supporters on Facebook and Instagram, while X (formerly Twitter) will slowly be phased out. This is due to the unregulated nature of the online environment on this particular platform. This goes against our philosophy and ethos, which focuses on what connects people, how art can heal us and help us, and gives a voice to artists from different countries, environments and backgrounds.

Please follow our social media posts for both announcements in due course.

As the world becomes increasingly chaotic and unpredictable, the arts are the only means to make sense of it and stay connected to the rest of humanity in the best possible way.

I wish you all the best. Stay healthy and stay safe wherever you are. Keep writing, creating and reading.

Lots of love,

Natalie Nera
